The mast work platforms are unique pieces of equipment on the hire fleet. They function someway in between a scissor lift and a cherry picker, having the ability to elevate straight up and down yet able to work over situations with its flyout jib. Due to the 100VJR lifting via a mast it has no protruding areas as you would have with a standard articulated boom, making it an ideal piece of equipment for internal use where there are alot of obstacles. The Manitou 100JR is also a compact machine measuring less than 1m in width.
