The hire fleet copper tube expander eliminates the cost of fittings and gives a 50% saving on labour and soldering material. This is because the tube expander can expand 15mm and 22mm pipe ends so that they form a rescepticle for pipe to slot into which then only needs the one joint soldering. A great time saving piece of kit.
The steel tube expanders do what they say, expand tube ends on steel tube. This is primarily used for sleeving tubes into plate ends in heat exhangers. A full range on mandrills are available.
