The pipe roll groovers on the hire fleet are used for creating grooves in pipework used in fire sprinkling systems. The manual 1" to 6" Ridgid 916 is a really simple tool which mounts onto a Ridgid 300 power unit, the groove is created by simply pulling down the manual handle which pushes the roller wheels into the pipe creating the groove. For when there are large quantities of grooves to be formed or for pipework larger than 6" we have the Rems hydraulic roll groover on the hire fleet which has a capacity upto 12", again driven by a Ridgid 300 power unit.
