The aim of the Confined Space Awareness Course will be to provide awareness of the need for a safe working environment within a confined space, and to make the staff aware of procedures to ensure a safe access and exit by staff from a confined space and to have emergency procedures in place in the event of an emergency arising while operators are working in the confined space. Key points will be Interpretation and recognition of confined spaces, risk assessment, safe working, emergency and rescue equipment, practical scenario and controlled access and egress into onsite confined spaces.
