Wood Chipper Attachment (Avant 528) Hire Sheffield

Turn your Avant 528 into a fully mobile wood chipper without needing a separate machine taking up space on the trailer. The CH100 is a compact disc chipper that mounts straight onto the front of the loader. It’s powered entirely by the 528’s own hydraulics so all you’ve got to do is clip and go.

With two hardened blades on a hydraulic direct-drive drum doing the work, it can handle branches and material up to 100mm in diameter, chopping them down to a consistent 12mm chip length in one pass. The discharge chute rotates 180 degrees and can be set to eject left or right, so you can point the chips where you want them, rather than just wherever they land.

This combo is great for landscapers and tree surgeons who are already hiring the 528 for other tasks, or for a contractor who needs a machine that can tackle a bit of everything.  And, thanks to the loader’s compact footprint (just 113cm wide), you can get it into spaces a trailered chipper can’t reach, whether that’s a back garden or a site with awkward access.
